How it started – a passion for health
XSELENA was born from a passion for health and pure, natural products. As young entrepreneurs, we saw how much of the skincare around us was packed with synthetic additives and unnecessary ingredients. Products that made big promises but rarely delivered lasting results. So we asked ourselves: does it have to be this way?
Inspiration from Korea
We found the answer in Korean skincare. Innovative, gentle, and focused on repair and prevention. There, skincare isn't about gimmicks, it's about rituals that strengthen the skin barrier and unlock that natural glow. We wanted to combine that vision with the simplicity and elegance of the West. And so, in Breda, the idea for XSELENA was born, a brand that brings East and West together.
Collagen at the core
During our research, we came across marine collagen in a special form: hydrolyzed and low-molecular-weight, so it can be absorbed by the skin as effectively as possible. Collagen is the building block of your skin, the protein responsible for firmness, elasticity, and a youthful look. As you age, your body produces less of it, and skin becomes thinner and less resilient. That's why we chose collagen as the foundation of our first formula: the Bio Collagen Mask. Not a flimsy surface film, but a form-fitting bio-cellulose mask that melts into the skin and makes a visible difference from the very first use.
From skin to confidence
In the beginning, we focused mainly on visible skin improvement through effective formulas and natural ingredients. Until a customer sent us this message:
